Shipping Policy
1. Order Processing and Delivery Time
We’re dedicated to swiftly processing and dispatching your orders. Our trusted domestic carrier, The Courier Guy, facilitates delivery in South Africa, which typically takes 1–5 business days. However, the actual delivery time varies based on the customer’s location within South Africa. Please allow up to 7 business days for your order to reach your doorstep.
2. Shipping Methods
We use The Courier Guy as our dedicated courier company to ensure your order reaches you safely and on time.
3. Shipping Rates
Unfortunately, we do not offer free shipping. We have a standard courier delivery rate in South Africa. Should insurance be required, additional charges will apply.
4. International Shipping
For our international customers, please email us at sales@bruidsgids.co.za to discuss shipping options and arrangements.
5. Undeliverable Packages
If a package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address or other issues, we will contact you to obtain the correct details. Additional shipping fees may apply for re-sending.
6. Shipping Changes
If you need to modify your shipping address or method after placing an order, please contact us promptly. Changes can be accommodated if the order has not yet been shipped.
7. Holiday Shipping
Please note we are closed every festive season between December 10th and January 15th. You are welcome to place your order during this time, but it will only be processed after January 15th.
8. Lost or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact our support team. We are committed to resolving the issue and ensuring your satisfaction.

Returns and Exchanges Policy
At Bruidsgids (Pty) Ltd., we are committed to providing you with the highest quality products. We understand that sometimes items may not meet your expectations, so we have established a straightforward Returns and Exchanges Policy to ensure your satisfaction. Please read the following guidelines carefully before initiating a return or exchange:
1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
- We accept returns and exchanges within 10 days from the date of purchase.
- Items must be undamaged and in their original packaging.
2. Initiating a Return or Exchange
- To initiate a return or exchange, email us at sales@bruidsgids.co.za with your order number, a brief description of the reason, and clear photographs if applicable.
- Our customer service team will review your request and provide further instructions within 2 business days.
3. Return Shipping
- The customer is responsible for arranging and covering return shipping costs, except when the item received was damaged or defective.
- We can arrange the courier service for your return. A return shipping fee of R120 will be invoiced or deducted from your refund.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe return of the item.
4. Refund Process
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
5. Exchange Process
- If you wish to exchange an item for a different product, please specify your preference in your return request email.
- Exchanges are subject to availability. If the requested item is unavailable, we will issue a refund.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
- If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately at sales@bruidsgids.co.za with photographs.
- We will arrange a replacement or provide a full refund, including return shipping costs.
