Domina-Charlidon

General Information

Domina-Charlidon was founded and created by myself (Chanique Barnard Zietsman) in my first year of attending Tshwane University of Technology in 2017. My passion for jewellery started at a young age of 8 years old when my mother sent me for beading classes.

Situated in the heart of the East Rand close to OR Tambo International Airport, we work on jewellery for people across South Africa and even overseas.

I find a lot of inspiration from floral designs and Art History and I am well known to design hidden floral patterns in my jewellery, especially rings.

I work with a wide range of coloured stones, pearls and beads, precious and semi-precious stones, and love working with moissanites. Metals that I work with include sterling silver, palladium silver, yellow, white and rose gold, platinum and certain pieces in copper and brass. I try my best to accommodate all budgets and alternative styles and I always have various options available for my clients to help them make their jewellery dreams come true.

I love doing bespoke and custom made pieces and using old jewellery and heirloom pieces to redesign something new (I have been working the most on redesigns). We also do repairs and CAD designs. My jewellery ranges from rings, bridal jewellery, hair pieces and crowns, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
